Janusz Conradi
Janusz Conradi started the Oakbourne Junior Academy in February 2012 and is now the Director of Tennis at Oakbourne. Janusz is a native of Poland and lives with his wife Toni and three kids in Lafayette. He graduated high school in May 2006 and gained singles ranking on the ATP tour the following month. He graduated from UL with a degree in Sports Administration in 2011. His internships included coaching positions at Knollwood Country Club, Illinois (08') and Fairfield County Hunt Club, Connecticut (010'). Since 2008, Janusz has started up three new junior programs in New Iberia, Broussard, and in Lafayette. He received a USPTA coaching certification in 2010, followed by a prestigious USTA certification as a Specialist in High Performance Coaching.

Brandon Nicholson
Brandon Nicholson who was one of our tennis pros from 2004-2007 has rejoined our Oakbourne tennis staff. As many of you remember, Brandon was one of the top ranked juniors in the state of Louisiana as well as the South. It included memorable wins over Andy Roddick, Robby Ginepri during national junior events. Brandon was a key player of the LSU tennis team from 1999-2004. He has 13 years of teaching tennis experience between Oakbourne Country Club, University Tennis Center, and New Orleans Country Club. Brandon and his wife Katie have two children and live in Lafayette.

Daniel Holland
Daniel Holland is the new Director of Junior Tennis at Oakbourne as of May 2021. After competing at a high level in juniors, Daniel attended LSU and received a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering in 2020. After working as an engineer for a year, he decided to return to the club he once trained as a junior and pursue a professional career teaching tennis.

High Performance Specialist
Zack Saloom
Zack Saloom is the Academy's High Performance Specialist, which consists of in depth player technical and tactical analysis. His tennis career started in juniors, where he competed at a national level as well as holding three singles state championships for STM. After juniors, he was a member of the ULL tennis team 03'-04', while also receiving an MBA. Having trained top 100 nationally ranked juniors within his 15 years of coaching experiences, our athletes receive the tools and instruction required to climb the rankings.

Emily Ory
Emily Ory is a native of Lafayette, LA and graduated from UNC Greensboro in 2021. She received a B.S. in Recreation Management with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. Emily played Division 1 college tennis for 4 years ('17-'21) after competing at the highest junior level tournaments. She played in tournaments at the state, national, and international level - she even secured a win at the professional level. During her junior career, she won the USTA State Qualifying Championships for every age group 12s-18s. She has a strong passion for working with children of all ages and abilities while sharing her love for tennis!

Travis Tolbert
Travis Tolbert is the Head of Strength and Conditioning at the Academy, as well as the founder of his online platform, Rise Fitness and Conditioning. He received a B.S. in Kinesiology and HSE, along with several other prestigious professional training certifications. He has more than 12 years of experience training professional tennis and football players, as well as elite junior athletes. Before his years of professionally training athletes, he was a Division I cross country and track and field athlete at Lamar University where he was all conference in cross country and finished top 15 at Texas A&M Invitational. Needless to say our athletes receive the highest level of physical training, allowing peak performance on the court.
